D A I L Y     P R O G R E S S

Tour began on Saturday May, 12th 2007.
We left at 8:00 a.m., from the Walton Arts Center parking lot in Fayetteville.

Day Nine

Day of Rest
Oh Ya!

I didn't realize how good some rest would feel.
I got up at 6:00, ate some breakfast and then went back and slept a
little bit more. Very nice!

We enjoyed going to church with the gracious folks at Evangel Temple who
have been taking great care of us.
They have spread the welcome mat and made us feel right at home. This is
a church with a heart for taking care of people.
The pastor and a couple of the men from the congregation had just
returned from a trip to Greensburg, KS for the relief effort for the
people of that city that had been hit with an F5 tornado. They have also
been actively involved with helping with the efforts from Katrina, even
when they were also hit during that time.

They have continued to provide meals for our family and the kids have
enjoyed the day off with a chance to play with some other kids.
Special thanks to Rhonda and Steven and their family who have definitely
provided some of the wind under our wings for this D-Tour Journey.

It is often the people we meet along the way who also just inspire us to
keep going
To raise the awareness about Down Syndrome, but really about the value
of all people.
Thanks Y'all, we sure appreciate your help.
